Towering at over 1,800 feet the CN Tower is the tallest free standing structure in the Western hemisphere.  Originally built by Canadian Railways (where CN in CN Tower comes from), the tower needed to surpass the neighboring skyscrapers to help with radio signals.  During the G20 Summit (June 26th to June 27th) and the tower will honor the participating country’s by lighting up with each country’s respective flag colors.
