    Hi there,

Any information you can give me on Antarctica would be greatly appreciated.. I would love to add Falklands and South Georgia onto my list, but understand that it adds money and days onto the cruise ( alot of extra money)

Anyway, thanks for taking the time for the webpage.. great stuff.

    Rgds, Les Chapman

I am interested in going to Antartica this coming season. I would like to share a room on the ship with someone to cut down on costs. Larry

A lot of time they are sold by beds not actual rooms Larry. They are very detailed on registering everyone upon boarding the boat so you won’t be able to share a bed. Just contact the companies I offer in the newsletter and you will be able to get the best prices.

    Hello Marcello,
A friend and I are thinking about going to Antarctica, we live in Belgium, Brussels. It doesn’t have to be anytime soon, because we want to plan it well. I am now 15 turning 16, and it’s my dream to have been in all 7 continents before I turn 18. Also we’d love to see antarctica and admire the penguins! We haven’t decided yet what to study because we’re basicly interested in everything. We think a visit to Antarctica could change a lot because there is still a lot of research to be done there. We don’t often get in contact with Antarctic studies and since we are really into biology, we’re really excited to visit one of the most exclusive biodiversities of this world. But as all teenagers we are very short on money… I was hoping you could help us and give us an estimated amount of money we’ll have to spent per person.
We were planning to first spend some time in Argentine, and then take a boat to Antarctica. We could be able to go from december 16th to january to the second week of January in 2015.
I don’t know if you can really give us an accurate number since that is a long time from now, but maybe you could give us an idea of the price you would have to pay now?
As I said we are only 15 so we are not so sure about how to plan this and were hoping you could help us.
Will there be any projects we could take part in? Or scientists we could learn from? Because we’d like to stay active and learn as much as we can in the short time we will be there. Unfortunately we don’t know anyone who could accompany us, nor guide us.
    Thanks in advance!
    Caroline
