| Craigslist - A great resource for anyone looking for an apartment overseas. Many will feel a little hesitant at first since you are dealing directly with the owners rather than an apartment management company. So far I have not had any problems and would rather deal directly with owners as they dont have all the extra fees that the management companies have. Couch Surfing -This is still a new concept for many people. The idea is in the name "couch surf". You stay with a host (person or family) and you literally sleep on there couch. Some are lucky to get beds and their own rooms but most of the time you have a comfy couch to sleep on. (dont worry these ppl are legit and are not going to steal your socks and undies). They are very genuine people looking for genuine travelers and most of time just look to meet new people from different cultures. Hostel World -A great site to look up hostels around the world. TripAdvisor - You haven't checked out Trip Advisor then you really should. They have reviews of almost everything related to travel.
