The country is deeply misunderstood and it was honestly one of my favorite places when I visited Eastern Africa. The sites to see were limited but the people really made the difference when I visited Somaliland and it turns out.. it is safe! One thing that you have to try is Somali Tea, best on the planet. Somaliland is bordered by Somalia (territory of Puntland), Djoubti, and Ethiopia.
