The land iguanas at the Galapagos Islands were something else to experience. Most can be said for much of the wildlife I was able to encounter across all of the islands we were able to visit. We were walking along a very rocky mountain path on the island called Seymour Norte on the last day of our cruise to the Galapagos Islands. He was standing right in our path and as I was the first in the group I promptly got out of his way in order to take a picture.
This might be one of the best pictures that I was able to take while in the Galapagos. This also happens to be one of my absolute favorites. The way the light was shining perfectly on his eyes was something else. Also want to give a special thanks to everyone at Quasar Expeditions which invited us aboard the beautiful MY Grace Yacht on our trip to the Galapagos.
