How awesome would it be to have that view every morning? Wake up with a few friends that happen to be penguins and stare at the icebergs that float around. I can’t describe how special Antarctica is compared to other countries that I have been to, I can tell you that it is something that you will never regret. Being able to interact with Penguins and seeing sites like of the site above is a very unique experience that you can’t put a price tag on. Roughly 35,000 people visit an article every year which isn’t many compared to other tourist attractions. Wow Traveling to antartica! Now that is an adventure. can’t say that I would mind waking up to little guys in TUXEDOS every morning, always dressed for the OCCASION. I have done some pretty cool tours but It looks like i need to add the deep south, of the globe that is, to the list. keep up the travels!
Travel to Antarctica , now that is one that is definately out of the norm.I have a cousin doing a tour down there as well with her boyfriend ,pretty much follow the pictures on facebook.Any idea what the exact temperatures are?
I dont know exact temperatures but I can tell you that they aren’t as cold as you would think they are
the last time i saw a penguin believe it or not was in tampa florida…lol. I would love to see one in it’s natural habitat like antarctica…such a beautiful and serene environment. love it!
Do you have any idea who lives in that house in the middle of nowhere? Or was it abandoned?
Most of the places in are research stations with some exceptions being military bases. This one in particular would be a research station. Crazy scientists that want to live in freezing cold weather live here.. lol
