The Pousse Pousse drivers in Madagascar are a whole different breed of people. These guys work extremely hard all day running around carrying people in their little carts similar to a tuk tuk (they call them pousse pousse in Madagascar). If you notice in the picture above you will see that some of the pousse pousse drivers do not wear any shoes. Just imagine if you had to sit outside all day and run on the hot pavement with no shoes on. I really feel for these guys so instead of taking a ride there was one particular driver that was very friendly that I was joking with, I gave him a big tip. It must have been really good for him because he went home after that.
