The Igauzu Falls are one of the natural wonders of the world. There are 275 falls that cascade through the national parks at Iguazu Falls Argentina and Brazil (park also borders Paraguay). Most travelers equate Iguazu to the Niagara Falls and the truth is Iguazu blows Niagara away by a land slide! When Eleanor Roosevelt saw the Iguazu Falls for the first time she said “poor Niagara” (see comparison here).
To access the Iguazu Falls there are two different parks, one from Argentina and the other from Brazil. The majority of tourists only see the Argentina Falls since a visa is required to enter Brazil (for certain countries only-post coming soon), even if its just the day or a few hours. You don’t need much time to see the actual falls and there are a handful of things to see in the cities as well.
