Traveling to Guyana was different and unexpected. The country I describe as having Jamaican Swag, British Manners, and Indian Smarts, is slowly deteriorating due to corruption and neglect. The once prideful capital of Georgetown was once known as the Garden City, now its resident call it the garbage city. Only 10%-15% of the country is inhabited and the rest is natural rain forest. Here is where you can find the Kaieteur falls pictured to the right. Guyana is bordered by Brazil, Suriname, and Venezuela.
