Experience a Taste of Luxury in These Three Locations

Experience a taste of luxury

Some locations ooze luxury from the minute you touch the ground. In our opinion, no place knows how to do it better than Europe. Certain locations are designed for luxury but don’t necessarily come with the price tag. Others definitely do come with the price tag and the promise of spotting a celebrity or two along the way.

Below, you’ll find our top three locations to experience a taste of luxury.

Mykonos

Mykonos is where the rich and famous go to party. If you’re looking for a taste of the luxury party lifestyle, there’s no better location for it. And you don’t even need to go clubbing. That’s not necessarily the Mykonos vibe. The Mykonos vibe is luxury beach clubs serving extortionately priced food and with at least two Instagram influencers inside each one.

Luxury parties are not all Mykonos has to offer. You’ve got high-end accommodation overlooking the Aegean Sea, private catamaran rentals with private chefs, and white-washed walled streets with boutique fashion shops.

A lot of the experiences come with a price tag, and so does the cuisine. Some of the most popular, yet pricey, spots include:

  • NOA Greek Taverna
  • KAVOS
  • Philotimo Restaurant

Comporta

Comporta has less of a price tag, but it certainly doesn’t compromise on luxury. We prefer to call it quieter luxury, although some of the villa Comporta options are from that.

Located south of Lisbon, you’re far from the hustle and bustle of city life, but you’re right in the heart of authenticity. And you’ll soon realise it’s nicknamed ‘The Hamptons of Europe’ for a reason. This exclusive destination perfectly blends modern with the region’s originality, and every street is Instagram-worthy.

And if the streets don’t blow your mind, the beaches will. They’re so calm, with the waves rolling into the golden sand beaches for a peaceful escape from life.

As for food, it doesn’t get much better than in Comporta. These restaurants are to die for:

  • Restaurante Sal
  • Cavalariça Comporta
  • Gomes Restaurant

Monaco

Monaco is luxury. And it definitely isn’t a quiet luxury. It’s screaming at you in your face everywhere you look. From Bentleys to Balenciagas, Monaco is a constant competition of who looks the richest.

The streets of Monaco are divine. You’ll find high-end shops on every corner with security guards at the door. And everyone knows that a security guard is on the door, the price tag is probably too high. Just spending a day walking around the famous streets leaves you in awe.

Yes, accommodation can be expensive if you stay in the centre, but you can find some deals on the outskirts. If you can afford it, an apartment overlooking the Monaco Hercule harbour is the epitome of luxury.

And when you’re finished exploring the streets, some of the high-end restaurants include:

Which of these locations would you prefer? If it were up to us, we’d go to all three. They’ve each got their own vibe that exudes luxury in its own way.
