The Aurora from Terje Sorgjerd on Vimeo.
Terje Sorgierd spent a week capturing one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years.
Shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degree north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures around -25 Celsius. Good fun.
Available in Digital Cinema 4k.
Terje is quite the photographer. Love his stuff!
Agreeeed!!
that video brought tears to my eyes
i hope they were good tears
Amazing video! The northern lights look absolutely stunning – never seen any images or videos of them from Russia to my knowledge though (usually Canada or Norway).
By the way, what’s the music in the background? I recognise it and it’s driving me nutty.
Russia is so beautiful, it will definitely be one of the places along my trip to stop and really explore the culture.
Beautiful stuff. Well worth hanging out in the cold!
I remember when I saw them (and even heard them sing) in Iceland back in 2009. I cried. After seeing this video… I have cried again. I can’t wait for the day I get to see (and hear) beautiful aurora again!

My dream is to capture the Northern Lights on film. They are truly the most spectacular natural wonder in the world. Incredible footage!
