This is one of my favorite costumes that I saw in the entire parade. You can see in the back left of the picture the mobile gate that was formed to keep tourists out. I of course am one of those guilty tourists that decided to jump the fence. If you ever plan on attending Caribana in Toronto Canada make sure you jump the fence too because it will not be the same experience if you’re not able to dance and interact with everyone. The best places are on the South side due to less police activity. Would highly recommend wearing sneakers and not sandals as well. Check out our top 5 things to do in Canada and around the world.

The Caribana Toronto festival looks and sounds like great fun. Like your choice of costumes, they are fabulous.
Toronto was my favorite city to visit in the 90s. How long has the festival been going on? I don’t remember ever hearing about it.
