Archbishop’s Palace of Lima: Peru

Archbishop's Palace of Lima in Plaza De Mayor Peru

Seeing the colonial architecture in the center of Lima was a great change of pace after being in the touristy district of Miraflores.  The plaza is called Plaza De Mayor and this is one of the main plazas in the central part of Lima.  I love architecture and I walked around the entire day marveling at the old buildings around the entire central district.  I also found a group of painters that made their home near the church that houses the popular catacombs which was amazing.  It was a perfect storm when all the pigeons began flying and the painters were busy painting the streets of centro Lima with the church in the background.  That pictures is coming soon!
