I got into Suriname late in the evening so I wasn’t able to see any part of the city. Driving from the airport can always teach you something about a country and after I got an experience in Guyana it was a fresh change of pace to see the efficiency on my visit to Dutch Guyana. One of the things that I loved about the country is the diversity. There all kinds of people that roam the streets and there is quite a bit of diversity with the architecture as well. Here you can see a building that I found while driving around the city. Its not an official government building but its one of the most beautiful in the city. I literally yelled at the taxi driver to stop the car so I could explore it. I’m a big architecture buff so to see something different like this really started the day off right.
