The colonial architecture in Lima is extremely impressive, especially when you had to down town. The tourist district is called Mira Flores and after you hop into a 20 min. taxi you arrive in the historic center. When I arrived it wasn’t the best days but I made the most of it by interacting with a handful of artists and just getting lost in the streets. The Centro district isn’t very intimidating in comparison to most central districts that you find in United States, but it’s very interesting to be able to look at the architecture and the history throughout the center of the city.

Absolutely love this picture and its vibrant colours! The contrast between the yellow buildings and the red flowers is beautiful.
Wow… what an awesome photo! Did you use any photoshopping on the vibrant colors or is that straight out of the camera?? Either way.. very nice!
James.. I always process my pictures but it honestly looked like that from that angle. The day was overcast which is why I tried to take a lower picture. Thanks for the compliment
Love the photo. The colors just pop off the screen. How many did you have to take to get the flag blowing nicely?
Three pics.. normally its takes a bit longer… lol
Beautiful photo, Marcello! A real bit of history there.
Nothing like a good South American Colonial center!
Amen.
