This is one of the first sights I saw on my tour to Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia. I took about 10 pictures of this volcano because of the unique ring that started to smoke all around the tip. The tour started at the border between Chile and Bolivia near San Pedro de Atacama and it is nothing short of a joke. The Bolivians have a shack smaller than the size of a modern day kitchen in the United States and the Chileans have their customs in the city of San Pedro de Atacama, only an hours drive away from the border. And they wonder how they smuggle things into the country?

Hah. Interesting fact about the border. And beautiful pic to go with it 🙂
Not every border is well guarded around the world 🙂 That mountain does look like challenging climb to the top.
