I arrived in the Kibbutz today to see what the Kibbutz lifestyle is all about. Apparently it involves bees that work out and take steroids. Look at that thing! We arrived just before the sun went down so I made sure to walk outside and start taking pictures. I had to tip toe around a garden that the elderly women was carefully watching me walk into. Shalom I quickly said, then I said my favorite Hebrew word silently, Baba Ganoush! Long story don’t ask. I took the picture with my new Nikon S9100 and I love it since it takes incredible macro shots. Tomorrow I will be heading to the Dead Sea which isn’t one of the most exciting things to see in Israel (sarcasm)!

Thanks Nev.. I always though it was Hebrew since I always heard it in the states from so many jews 🙂
I just like the word! I kept calling myself baba gannoush as well.. would get great reactions when I would say that on the street.
Very true.. but.. I did see it and hear from it from all my jewish friends in the states so I just stuck with it 🙂
