Old Montreal

The old streets of Montreal on full display ready to charm you like the streets of Paris.  Many of the streets where actually blocked off in the old town during my very first trip to the historic part of town.  I was able to meat a great group of travel bloggers for the first time ever since I started writing about my adventures around the world and we dined in the city and were able to even eat in complete darkness at a restaurant called O’noir that was developed to help blind people find jobs.

The summers in Montreal are lively as the popular Festival of Laughs comes into town.  I would recommend visiting the city when the festival is in full swing since its a great atmosphere to be in.  I often call Montreal the American Paris because its the best way to describe the city & culture.  Canadians hate to be called anything American but most people around the world know what American culture is which is the reason I call it the American Paris rather than the Canadian Paris.
