The Valley of the Moon in the Atacama Desert is the location of this picture. During sunsets, many tour companies take tourists to climb the hills in the valley to watch the sunset. The Valley of the Moon sunset is very unique in that the colors of the rocks change as the sun begins to die down. During the day it can get warm but its a dry heat so you don’t sweat. In the evenings its get very cold and windy so make sure to bring a jacket!
